Gosford Hobbies abides by the rules and laws as provided by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission, however, if you have any enquiries, or wish to clarify or make a return on a purchase that doesn’t fall within a warranty claim, please contact Gosford Hobbies directly in writing to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  It is important to note that any item agreed to be returned and not related to a warranty issue, MUST be in original packaging, undamaged, unopened, all return postage costs are borne be returner.


Gosford Hobbies is not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a MAJOR problem.  This is when the item:

  • has a problem that would have stopped some one from buying the item if they had known about it.
  • Is unsafe
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description
  • Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed.

Alternatively you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.

If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time.  If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.

Please keep your proof of purchase eg receipt of your order number.


Please note that if you have purchased any Remote Control item (such as helicopter, quadcopter, drone, car, truck, boat, yacht or similar) and the item has ANY crash damage, signs of battery leakage, water (fresh or salt) corrosion,it is not covered by warranty.
